**Mate mandatory.
***Depending upon what type of fishing, we may have to limit the trip to 3 anglers.
Fuel surcharge. With the way gas is going I guess I need to do what others have done and institute a surcharge if gas goes above $4.00 a gallon at AP's Inlet Marina. Sorry but it's insane the cost. If we find fish close and I don't burn a lot then I will not charge it.

Special Discounts
Tell A Friend Discount: If you have taken a charter with us before and you tell a friend (must tell me at time of booking), the friend gets $50 off his charter. And you get $50 off your next charter. Stipulations: This offer is valid only during the 2006 season. It does not carry over from year to year. The friend and yourself may not be on the same charters. This offer is only good for the person booking the charters and not for the rest of the anglers (i.e. one person per trip).
Multiple Charter Discount: Take 4 trips with Captain Frank and your 5th trip is ON Captain Frank! If you want a Shark/Tuna charter as your free trip, then at least 2 of your previous 4 trips must have been a Shark or Tuna trip. This offer is valid only during the 2008 season. It does not carry over from year to year.
Captain's Special Discount: The captain also loves to fish! In an effort to help hold down the costs for the anglers and to give him a chance to fish, Captain Frank is offering a "Let The Captain Fish" charter. This discounted charter is limited to a maximum of 2 anglers, requires no mate and is limited to fluke, sea bass and Black Fish. With this type of charter, you will have to bait your own hooks and net your own fish since the Captain is too busy fishing!!! But for these small concessions, you can subtract $75 from your trip!
Please don't forget to tip the mate! Typically, this is 15%-20% of the charter.
$100 deposit is required to book a charter. And can be mailed to:
Frank Geck
77 B Church St
Allentown, NJ 08501
Bait, Ice and Fishing Tackle: These are all included. For our Tuna/Shark trips we use all Penn International equipment. Feel free to bring your own equipment if you like. And bring your own food and drink. A moderate amount of beer is fine--no hard liquor.
Inclement Weather: Captain Frank will make the call from a weather perspective as to whether to cancel the trip. If the Captain cancels your trip, the deposit is refundable (unlike most other boats). If you don't show up or if you cancel on your own, the deposit is forfeited. Of course, the deposit can be applied to the booking of a new date.
Early return: Unlike other charter boats, Captain Frank feels you should not have to pay for a full day if you "limit out" and want to go back to the dock early. So, even if you plan on going out for a full day and by noon you want to come back in, or some of the passengers are getting sea sick, not a problem. This policy works in reverse if you want to stay out. Captain Frank is happy to extend the trip. Not a problem--just pay the difference.
Charter Times: Times are calculated from dock to dock. Or, in the event you are late, the trip time begins when you where supposed to arrive. The Captain will only wait 30 minutes unless you contact him to let him know your expected arrival time.
Striper Fishing: There are a few ways to land these beauties! They include live bait (eels, bunker), clams and trolling. Captain Frank will do as you like because it's your trip. However, he recommends going the live bunker route when Stripers are in town if the bunker are avaiable. This is a limited time opportunity and you can expect to catch the biggest fish this way.
Departure times
Captain Frank believes in being as flexible as possible (i.e. after work, morning, afternoon, night, etc.). You tell HIM when you would like to go fishing! He will recommend the best time for the type of fishing you would like to do and, of course, he will stop you from booking a night Fluke trip!
